We Are Development Ready
Northwest Colorado’s industrial parks are development ready: connected to multimodal transportation infrastructure and offer ready utilities and competitive incentives. We have a skilled workforce eager to support your business at its new Northwest Colorado address. Your company will flourish in a well-resourced, collaborative environment.
Shovel Ready Sites
Many of our region’s industrial parks have essential infrastructure including three phase electricity, natural gas or geothermal power, water and sewer, and fiber, reducing development cost and speed to market. For example, at the Trapper Industrial Park, utilities infrastructure includes dedicated 69 kV lines, 345 KV Western Area Power Administration lines, plus a new potable water plant with water rights.
With access to interstates, U.S. highways, air and rail connections, your company can reach regional and national markets in 10 western states within 500 miles.
Northwest Colorado Development Council and its local and state partners will help your company navigate state and local zoning and permitting. Contact us for assistance.
Our leadership supports business growth. Elected officials look for solutions that incentivize your relocation, expansion or startup in Northwest Colorado. For instance, when rPlus Hydro needed a demographic and economic impact study to support their federal licensing requirements, Moffat County wrote a grant to fund the study.
Northwest Colorado’s educational institutions and workforce development agencies stand ready to provide training programs and support services, ensuring top performance and productivity. Colorado Northwestern Community College and Colorado Mountain College offer two year, four year and certificate programs to upskill and reskill your workforce. In a few years, the coal transition will make available nearly 2,800 experienced and industrial-skilled workers to work for your company.
