Grants Toolkit
To help you write an impactful grant application, NWCDC has created a Grants Toolkit, which includes templated responses for the most often asked grant questions, as well as data sources. Browse the Grants Toolkit for core language and other resources.
The NWCDC Grant Toolkit is a Google Drive with folders containing:
- Boilerplate grant language
- Surveys
- Regional Data
- Reports
- Regional roadmaps and plans
- Coal closure announcements for quick reference in grant applications.
Grants Workgroup
The NWCDC Grants Workgroup is a monthly meeting of organizations, those seeking grants, and grant writers. Each month, we discuss upcoming grants and resources pertinent to the region. Take a deeper dive into upcoming grants at our monthly Grants Workshop Meetings. On the second Wednesday of each month at 11 am, the Grants Workshop invites funders to discuss details of their upcoming grants. Join us to get insights on grants that can support your organization or project. Join the group by emailing Sasha Nelson
Grants Collective
The Northwest Colorado Grants Collective is a partnership with the Northwest Colorado Development Council and the Yampa Valley Community Foundation to create a list of grant professionals to increase grant writing and management capacity for regional nonprofits, local governments, and businesses interested in hiring grant writers to support developing proposals for federal, state, and local grants. The list includes professionals who are for hire as contractors or full-time employees and may even provide some pro-bono services. Learn More
